Mixing

Mixing will be done both within Reaper and externally in the analog domain, using various combinations of hardware and software, depending on the needs of the project.

Should I take on the task of mixing your project, properly labelled multi-track recordings and stereo stems should be submitted in at least 16-Bit/44.1kHz format, though my personal preference is to work in at least 24-Bit/48kHz.

 *Some Notes*

-Rendering is done to a 24-Bit, 48kHz .wav file by default, though I can accommodate other formats by request.
--These days, very few projects get taken on due to time constraints, assuring the utmost quality and attention can be paid to perfecting your vision.

Thanks in advance for your understanding concerning this.

Mastering

Mastering is generally done using the following hardware processors:

Pultec EQM-1S3 Mastering Equalizers (Matched Pair)
Pultec MEQM-5 Mid-Range Mastering Equalizers (Matched Pair)
Rupert Neve Designs Portico II Master Buss Processor
Lexicon 300
Bricasti M7
UBK Fatso
Eventide H8000FW

*Note*

2-Track mix-downs should be submitted at or around -6dBFS to allow sufficient headroom to work with.
This will ensure that I can provide a bold master with clarity and depth whilst preserving adequate dynamic range.

Sound Design

When it comes down to designing sound, I have been at it for a solid 18 years. Going wild with pedals, racks, microphones, amps and synths has occupied the time that a proper musician should have spent practicing their instrument.

Lets face it though-
My influences being the New Wave, Ambient and Synth bands coming out of the UK in the 80s, it was clear from the beginning that this is the direction I'd take as an artist.

So far, it's carried me through my latest project, "The Infinite Echo" and has afforded me the opportunity to do some work testing Anatal Audio's X-Bay 64, and Eventide's newest flagship studio processor, the H9000.

I can assist you with anything from making custom presets based on your personal needs, to saving you loads of time and money through a focused, personal, online rig-design consultation.

Just let me know what you are after, and we'll figure out the most efficient way forward to getting the tone you've always dreamed about.

Some original sound demonstrations can be found directly to your right.
